Left Unmanaged weed and aquatic vegetation of any type can cause problems leading to issues with water quality and endangering fish stock, restricting water sports, angling and many other recreational activities taking place on the waterway.
Our specialist boat can manually remove large quantities of invasive plant matter.
Weedbeds can be cut from the bottom in most Depths of water with our trailing Knife, to then be removed with the boat.
Bank side vegetation including reeds can be cut back and removed.
We can also remove large snags such as fallen trees and bushes.
All aquatic vegetation will be removed to bank side.

Sometimes arriving at a fishery, you don’t have the privilege of first light or time to lap a lake. This gives the angler plan B or C. Get to know the Depths, features, hardness, and gradients that your swim has.
For the lake owner’s that want to understand their water in greater detail. Understand what your anglers are looking for, such as; lakebed features, snags for fish safety, silt layer, and create a contour map for the future.
Our aim is to produce a detailed contour map of the fishery showing water depths, lakebed features and a plan of the water with relative positions of fishing pegs / swims. SILTEX SERVICE
We offer a Siltex Service to help combat the buildup of silt on the lakebed.
WHAT IS SILTEX?
Siltex is a natural and inexpensive way to reduce organic silt in ponds, lakes, and rivers. It is a highly porous form of calcium carbonate consisting of microscopic particles of less than 5 microns, which means that it is environmentally friendly and harmless to plants and animals.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Decreases organic and oxidisable matter which shows up as a reduction in silt levels. Increases oxygenation and stimulates aerobic micro-organisms.
