RULES

GOLDEN OAKS RULES

1. Barbless Hooks Only.
2. Leaders must not be more than 1 metre long. All lead systems must be able to eject easily. Use of the magic twig is prohibited.
3. 3 rods maximum. A maximum of one rod is to be used for Zig fishing.
4. Only monofilament mainlines with a breaking strain of 15lb, or more are permitted on fishing rods.
5. Strictly no pike fishing.
6. Make sure your equipped to fish from platforms. i.e., Stage Stands or pods. Not all Swims will take bank sticks.
7. The following items must not be brought onto site: Landing nets, Unhooking mats, Sacks and Slings. All will be provided for you, on your arrival.
8. Heavily Intoxicated and/or anti-social anglers will be asked to leave site.
9. Bivvies and Rods must be within the designated swims. No tents.
10. Should you find yourself snagged, do not under any circumstances pull for a break. Contact the bailiff on 07765707765 who will use a boat to recover your tackle. Any line breakage rendering tackle in a snag, island or marginal reeds etc. should be immediately reported.
11. Fish are not to be sacked or retained. Unless consent by the bailiff has been given.
12. You must have a carp care kit with you, please use it and have it beside your unhooking mat ready for use on every hook hold or wound new or old.
13. No plastics or Foam’s including on Zigs.
14. Do not damage or cut any vegetation
15. No Fires unless in a supplied fire pit.
16. Boats on site are not for use, except by bailiffs
17. Particles/naturals in reasonable amounts are only Permitted between the 1st of November till 15th of March. All the other months of the year are Boilie and Pellet Only.
18. No nuts
19. We expect all anglers to leave their swims pristine and litter free. All litter should be taken with you, including cigarette butts. This lake was built with love and a dream, please respect this!
20. Guests are only allowed on site by prior arrangement. Dogs are not permitted.
21. You must be in possession of a current rod license to be able to fish, please support the Environment Agency and the other fisheries around the country!

22. All cars to be parked in the car park unless loading and unloading at the lake.

23. The guests added to the booking are the only guests that are allowed to fish. No switching of anglers or sharing rods. 

24. All gates must remain closed at all times due to livestock.

25. Take all litter home.

26. All fish are to be unhooked in the net whilst still in the water.
